I've downloaded several vehicles that look good on my computer but they just don't seem to look good on my GPS screen. I still try various ones from time to time, but so far I keep coming back to the basic blue car.

Downloaded a few from that site as well. A great site.

Currently using the Audi A4 Avant (http://www.vehiclesforgarminnuvi.com/Vehicles01/AudiA4Avant_... ) which is a near as I can get to our 2010 VW Golf TDI SportWagon (Jetta SportWagon in the US).

The default blue car, although I do have the USS Enterprise-D and USS Enterprise-E as well.

I've played with some of the default symbols, and some downloaded cars, but nothing really looks that good to me, so I stick with the blue triangle. It's easy to see when I'm navigating, which is important to me.

By our own, lschwabe. It's the Triangle_Blue_ls2.srf but doesn't have the crosshairs, sadly.

I downloaded an Isetta from somewhere and liked it. Makes me smile since I normally use my 2460 in an F250 Super Duty Ford pickup that could haul the Isetta in the bed with the tailgate closed.

Well, on my Street Pilot 2720, that'd be the blue triangle.

I'm an amateur wine maker .... and use a wine/champaign bottle from the vehicles for nuvi site.

People love getting in my truck and see a wine bottle on my gps.

I downloaded the vehicles that I or my family has, i.e., trucks, SUV's and specific cars if they are available to download. Whatever vehicle I'm driving with the GPS I change the icon to match or closely match what I'm driving.

Just a quirk I have

I have Sponge Bob and his voice. The grandchildren love it.

I have a similar quirk. I have a number of vehicles installed, anywhere from the Garmin Cessna to their slice of pizza to DaVinci's aircraft, Apollo spacecraft, and some other fun ones. Mostly what we use are three vehicles that have the closest appearance to the three vehicles we actually drive.

It depends on who is with me. If I am at work using the c580 it has the white wagon (looks like my cargo van from the top) but if we are taking kids on a trip I will choose different ones on the 760 to make it interesting for them.

On Duty... I Use the Tractor Trailer Rigs (red and blue) from the 465t.

Off Duty... I use the cross hair or the Ford Fusion that match my personal vehicle.

I don't like it plain so I change out the voice every week as well.

I love to watch the one who looks like Mario run trying to keep up with the car. The kids like him as well.

All this and know one mentions Garmins Vehicle Manager? For shame lol

Blue Triangle all the way for me as well.

I've seen a lot of side-loading of nasties into files.

But, folks have to make their own decisions on cloud-based repositories.

On www.vehiclesforgarminnuvi.com you'll find a Citroen Mehari. It's a file he created for me a long time ago, based on my beloved wife's car. A true classic, the Mehari, and I so wanted it on my Nüvi...

I also like the Wall-e, Eva, and the F-18. And I must test the butterfly as soon as I get in Vacation mode !

I use a motorcycle icon when I am on my bike. The truck icon when I am driving it.

My icons match the vehicles the GPSs are installed in. The white convertible for my car and the SUV for the bride's machine.

On my nüvi 760 I always use Darth Vader's Tie Fighter. My wife has a nüvi 200 and she uses the Green Tractor -- I think it might be called Rusty but can't remember off the top of my head.

The default. I would use my sweetie's car, but I didn't find it.

White touring SUV, closest thing to my custom van, actually I have been looking for an E type Jaguar,Silver since I was introduced to one when I lived back in Jolly Old England!!!
