They're cancelling Chicago Code?

OMG. I'm really not into cop dramas but that's a great show. Jennifer Beals has never been hard to look at, either.

The wife and I enjoyed Miami Medical too but that lasted all of 6 or 7 episodes, I think.

Wow, that is a lot! Not one

Wow, that is a lot!
Not one show on that list is anything I've ever watched. Gee, am I under-utilizing my cable TV?
I guess that I'm just lucky.

"You can't get there from here"

Very informative, but....

I don't partake in the "opium of the people" whether in commercial channels or cable, none of it makes any sense to me.

I especially detest sit-coms where producers and directors have to add laugh tracks to inform me when something is funny.

I guess in one sense I might be happy to see these so-called shows cancelled, but I am sure some people thrive on this stuff.

And yes, I have never watched a reality show of any sort.

More Than 57 Channels and There's Still Nothin' On

I no longer watch TV programs with the same sense of loyalty or continuity I had in the past. I've only seen a few of these shows once and can't say that I will miss any.

I spend most of my time watching various news programs, the Discovery Channel and sports. And the Cartoon Network razz

Looks like my dvr will be

Looks like my dvr will be empty

Crazy

I can't believe they are trashing so many shows. They just don't allow them to gain any audience.

Out of those, the only two I

Out of those, the only two I was aware of is NXT and V. I didn't give a damn about NXT. But V? That sucks, and there's been a lot of discussion about it, claiming that the cancellation was politically motivated. Seems V was seen as a metaphor for the Obama administration.

Whether it was a metaphor or not I could care less. There's just no quality science-fiction on the airwaves right now. sad

Makes no difference to me. I don't watch television. smile

Ok, actually my wife likes to watch a few shows but they're all on Netflix "watch it now" and don't have commercials. She has watched Lie to Me a bit but I think that's the only one on the list and it won't matter to her at all that it's canceled. If she wanted to watch more she'd still get it on Netflix. No waiting for "next week's episode" and no commercials.

Television really doesn't have an impact on my life. I like it that way.

Commercials? What are commercials? Oh yeah, those annoying things I used to have to watch before the invention of the DVR.

I stopped watching television in real time a long time ago. Now I just record all of my shows and watch them at my leisure.

Chicago Code and Lie to me were good

The rest I can live without

not tv

Wonder what will replace them? Maybe TV will just go dark for 14 hours a day. That would be nice.

Better With You (ABC)
This comedy had some interesting characters and funny moments.

I decided a long time ago to

I decided a long time ago to watch only things that would help me be more educated, learn more about the world, broaden the mind, not dramas / soap operas / useless reality shows that do nothing for the mind.

I only watch Discovery, Science, History, Travel, and Health channels shows now. Much more enjoyable to actually learn about other places, history, technology, how things work, instead of being mindlessly entertained.

One Season

Many of those were on for only one season. It seems like their isn't as much patience to allow shows to develop.

So...

little "real" talent left!

"Backward, turn backward, oh time in your flight, make me a child again, just for tonight."

I'll miss 3 of them.

The Defenders, Outsourced and The Event.

That's a lot

There's only 4 I watch when I have time... Wonder what they're going to run in those slots? Reruns of Ozzie & Harriet??? rolleyes

Finally !!!

Apart from the OPRAH show that sometimes is good I don't watch any of these shows, I hope they will be replaced with more educational programs where you can actually learn something from.

They would not be missed...

Me Too

maddog67 wrote:

Me Too! Only show on this list other than "Stargate Universe", that I stopped watching after the first season, that I watched. I loved Two-and-a-Half Men but it was getting long in the tooth and should have been terminated after the Charlie Sheen fiasco. Sadly that will keep limping along.

There are times I really want to give up on CBS. Especially after their "Jericho" mess a few years ago. Luckily audience protests brought it back for some closure.

I support the right to keep and arm bears.

Only watche Outsourced

The rest are unknown and un-missed by me.

Dark Blue was a good show

Well the only thing that is a shame is that Dark Blue was a decent show. Everything else on there... deserves to be cancelled. Especially Sarah Palin's Alaska...

Dark Blue

Agree. Dark Blue was a very good cop show. I will miss it.

JG - Nuvi 2460

Too Many Cops?

Looks like networks are shedding lots of cop/lawyer shows. My Tivo will need a major spring cleaning.

Oh well, with 700+ channels on my cable I should be able to find something to watch wink

Cheers

John B - Garmin 765T

never

I never well almost never get attached to shows, seems want I like not too many other like. been thinking about giving up tv for the year and just waiting till they come out on dvd and then watching them.

Good bye to Network Crap

Most of those shows were crap anyway. Now if they will just get rid of all the reality shows I'll be happy!

Not Many on my list

Not too many of those are on my list - watched Detroit 1-8-7 from time to time, until SouthLand went up against it. And I was a big fan of Rubicon, but that got cancelled months ago, so it's not news to me.

Live TV

Other than live sporting event and the weather channel, I could get by with Netflix and other online options for my occasional television viewing. Of the listed shows, I think Ace of Cakes was the only one I ever noticed being watched in our house.
