My continued sympathy to my old "up North" neighbors. 80 degrees today here. My, do I not miss the weather I labored in for so many years.
Have a good 'ne.
We spent the past 4 days enjoying Winterblast XXII in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Today we moved down to Winterhaven, CA which is about 8 miles west of Yuma. Wonderful weather here.
I made it home safely;) I even have a fun travel story to share.
I bought myself a box of chocolates after Valentines day and shared them with the girls during our trip. This morning when we got on the road my youngest decided she wanted some so I told her to share with her sister.
A few hours later while driving 70 miles an hour my oldest sat up and in the review mirror I saw brown stuff all over her face.
Little sister had laid the chocolate on her pillow in front of her face while she slept and the sun melted it and then it got all over her, her pillow, her clothes, blanket and hair.
It took big sister a while to see just how funny it was.
I laughed all the way to the next exit where I was able to help get her cleaned up.
It was a good thing that we were traveling with a suitcase full of clothes to change into. She could have gotten stuck in that for a few hours if we had just been out doing errands.
More snow today. We love snow, but only in moderation. Enough already, looking forward to Spring. It would be nice to have a warm Spring season and a slightly warmer summer.
Good luck to all.
Wishing everyone an amazing week!!
Thanks for sharing Miss POI
