I have only been a member for 2 weeks and have noticed some obsolete data in a couple of POI files (rest areas and McDonalds). What do I do with this information? Inform who with what?
If I were a General Maintainer could I correct the information myself and how would I do that?
Updating POI File Data

If you uncover an error in a POI file, there are a couple of routes to take. The primary route is to contact the file maintainer off line by clicking their name and then contact tab (if present). This allows you to send a private message to the POI Manager.
The second route is to post a note to the thread for that POI file. Most have started threads for POI File maintenance. The third route is to contact Miss POI. She will then contact any member that does not have their contact information enabled. If that maintainer is no longer active she will insert the corrected information into the file - if it is a CSV file. She doesn't maintain GPX files (that I know of).
As a further note, general maintainers can only edit their files, not those belonging to others.
Illiterate? Write for free help.

You stated that you have some obsolete data in this file. Are you referring to the built in poi's or the custom poi's? If you are referring to the custom poi's, please send them to me in order for me to update the file.
