New POI loader

I installed the new POI loader, after loading the POIs and then turn on the Gps, it used to tell me that new POIs were loaded. It would then ask if I wanted to keep them. Now it does not do that. And when I go to "my locations & custom POIs" it shows me all the old POIs I had on the GPS and then goes into a second listing of all the new and old ones I had on it.
Why is this happening? Am I doing something wrong?
When I open POI loader it asks me if I want to delete al OIs on the GPG, should I do this first? And then reload all the updated.
I have reloade POIs a numerous times and have only had the problem with the POI loader.

There are several threads on the subject of 2.6.0 which address the questions you are asking.
Bottom line, it will always work if you use either POI Loader to delete the existing POI.GPI file or do it manually before trying to reload.
