POI Loader and different sound file types

I know POI Loader will work with either MP3 or Wav files(if SOX is loaded)but what will happen if you put both types of sound files with the same file name in the default directory and ran the POI Loader program?

With your 1300 model only

With your 1300 model only the wav will play. The mp3 is just taking up space.

I did that with my "home alert". I have a 650 and a company purchased 1350 and I placed a mp3 and a wav in the same folder. Since the 1350 uses wav, it played the wav file. I did not try my 650 but I assume it will play the mp3 file. My 650 is out of use (don't need it) so I took the mp3 file out of my folder.

I seen post where owners of two different models one that has mp3 and other didn't.Use wav files for each so loading the same files to each unit a little easier. If you use sox.exe it will work on unit with mp3.

Quick & Brave

Wow thanks for the quick reply. I am new at this and not yet brave enough to try unknown things! Thanks
