That unit does not have an MP3 player. In order to get that functionality, you would need to purchase a device that does have that functionality.
Note that it is not possible to install third party applications to Garmin GPS units.

You can't run third party programs on your Garmin nuvi, so no, there are no third party programs to play mp3s. If playing music through that one tiny tinny speaker was important you should have paid the outrageous price for one with mp3 support. Or better yet, just get an inexpensive mp3 player.
