Mapsource use with 60csx and 1490lmt

I have a Garmin 60csx now and will be getting a 1490lmt for Christmas. Will I be able to use the same Mapsource program to upload info. to either unit?
Just bought a new 5th wheel and starting to plan a few trips.

Mapsource

is compatible with all Garmin units except for one of their newest ones. I believe it is the 3700 series.

Actually, MapSource will work fine with the 37xx series. You just can't send routes to and from MapSource and that unit series (yet).

Mapsource

I used Mapsource with my 1490T a week or so ago, to plot a route for an annual car club cruise. I have used many programs and mapping websites, and Mapsource was BY FAR the easiest to use.

I bought my 60csx a few years ago to use for my ATV and snowmobile but have used it sometimes in my auto. Mapsource is a great product for planning routes. I plan to use Mapsource for RV route planning then transfer to my 1490. Sites like this are tremendously helpful.
