Nuvi: where are POIs?

I've just downloaded some POIs and installed them on to my Nuvi, but I'm not finding them. I'm new to this, so perhaps I'm making a mistake?

Anyway, when I search for some of the sites that I've put into the Nuvi -- I'd like to make them into 'favorites' -- I'm getting a message back that they cannot be found. That's odd because I've looked at the CSV files, and they're certainly there.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks!

If you loaded your POI's

If you loaded your POI's with POI Loader, then you would select where to "extras" or something like that it depends on what model Nuvi you have.

Check your model listed under GPS models. It will tell you where your POIs are located. Go to: http://www.poi-factory.com/gps/garmin

Thanks for your help: I found the POIs on my Nuvo, and was able to import them into Favorites!

One of the things I discovered along the way is that the Garmin POI software syncs with a folder of files. There doesn't appear to be any way to access these POI files on the Garmin (?), so you can modify what you'd like to sync by adjusting this folder on your computer.

It's not intuitive, but it is easy once you've got it down.

Thanks again.

I uploaded some POIs to my new Nuvi 200. Then couldn't find them. Finally I did. They are under:

1. "Where To?"
2. "EXTRAS"
3. "Custom POIs"
