How do you orient your map?

I find that I like to set my map to have North UP and not the other two options - 3D or car going up all the time.
If North is up I am less likely to get confused as to where I am heading... but how do you like it?

3D
3D is just what i've used since i received my gps... i will try track up to see if i like it better... but i've had no real issues with the 3d view... (I think 3D might be better for the wide models)
North UP
...but my girls prefer 3D when they are riding with me. They prefer hearing "Karen from Australia" as well...
me too, there with your girls. Karen's voice is much-much better than Jill's. Actually.... I.... fight with Jill! - any time she is on!
-- OK. there is an explanation for that: Jill comes on by default, along with all the other default settings after an upgrade or other such intervention. One of the default settings is 'shorter distance' -- but that is 'as the crow flies', not 'as mama drives'. So Jill took me through some lovely horse country in VA, adding 4 to 6 hours to my straight forward I-this to I-that well planned and googled to be an 8 hour trip.
Since then, when I hear Jill I know I will soon be in trouble and stop to change the settings on my c340.
