100 FREIGHT SIGNIFICANT HIGHWAY LOCATIONS

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) today released the findings of their 2009 Bottleneck Analysis of 100 Freight Significant Highway Locations. The research, which assesses the level of truck-oriented congestion at 100 locations on the national highway system.

After 18 years of personal experience, the American Interstate system is getting worse and becoming more dangerous. Road Rage is just one of the ways people are dealing with it.

Number 45 is not too far from me and I definitely agree. Luckily passenger cars have the option to ride on the Northern State Parkway which runs parallel to that area.

After spending over 2 hours

After spending over 2 hours (it should only take and hour and a half at the most) to get downtown last Friday, I can totally vouch for the number 1, 2 and even 9 positions. At least Chicago can say they're number 1 for something. Whoo hooo!
