Nuvi 765 Power cable unplugs on it's own

I have a Nuvi 765. The power/traffic cable is loose in the socket on the bracket. It keeps loosing power from the lighter so I have to keep telling it to stay on. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't understand how this happened since we never unplug it from the GPS bracket.

You should call Garmin customer service and inform them that your mount/cable are defective. They will probably send you replacements. For all of Garmin's faults, and there are MANY, they still have good customer service.

If it isn't defective, they will help you to troubleshoot the problem.

I don't think the problem is the cigarette lighter end of the cable but it is the cradle connector end that's loose.

I agree--call Garmin, especially if you're still under warranty.
