Frustrated

Has anyone been able to reach Garmin Customer Support lately? I've been trying for a week now, each time hanging up after being on hold for over an hour. Worst part is my Nuvi is dead in the water. It won't even turn on. And it's only about 45 days old.

Just venting.

I feel your pain, but as

I feel your pain, but as usual you have to just wait it out, I always put the phone on speaker and do what I have to do until someone answers..

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to give it a try.

i'm gonna...

I'm gonna have to agree that the middle of the week tends to be there slowest volume of inquiries.

email them.

I use to email them and answer comes promptly in 1 day. Most probably the same day. Each time when you reply them keep the thread of the previous mails because each time you you mail them your customer support assistance keeps changing. Previous thread helps them to make it more organized and prompt reply.
I had problem with my 255W. In email itself they tried instruct me to solve it, and each time I fail they give new suggestion. Nothing worked out in a week so they replaced my unit with another one. This week I am getting my replacement unit from them.
I guess It would be better if you don't tell that your device was fallen into water because 1 year warranty doesn't cover problems created by inappropriate handling.
Here is a link to email them...

Make sure to register your device with garmin before you email them.
Good luck with it.

If I can't get through on Wed, I'll try e-mailing them. Oh, and it didn't really fall into water, just stopped turning on.
