Military GPS

Always on the Road Knowing where I've Been

Millitary GPS? OOooo...

A long time ago, I saw something similar in size to an ipad (a bit bigger, and thicker). It didn't follow roads that I know of (I wasn't allowed to play with it... or even touch it).

What I thought was freakin' amazing was REAL TIME SATELLITE PICTURES on the display (well... a very slight delay). You could look up at the sky, and waive, and a few seconds later you would see it on the screen!

Very useful in a fight with many enemies. In less than a decade this kind of stuff will be available to us lowly civilians! No more simple VGA type maps or overlays! Too expensive for me, but interesting to look at!

New signal

See the last line of the article? "... and a new signal for civilian uses."
