Escalade GPS manual

Anybody know if there is a manual for an Escalade GPS available online? My sisters husband bought the SUV but it didn't come with a manual. This is by far the most cryptic GPS unit I have ever seen. It reports that all the waypoints are full but there isn't a delete key available. The select address is also not available.

escalade GPS

As it is a GM product, you probably would have better luck at a Cadillac dealer. If i remember correctly when i last saw one it was on the DVD you used to reload the maps.

Found missing buttons

Thanks for the fast replies. I took another look at it and found the NAV button in the radio cluster. Half the controls are on the screen and the others are mixed into the radio controls!

Sometimes you wonder if the engineers just sprinkle buttons on this equipment without any real order!

Cadillac Manuals

You can access owner manuals for 2006 - 2010 model year Cadillacs here:

I randomly selected the 2009 Escalade manual - you get a PDF of the manual that usually sits in the glove compartment unread - and it has a section on using the navigation system. Just select the model year and your specific model.

Manual

We have the manual for the SUV but never got the manual for the GPS option. We did fine out how it worked and he did use it for his return trip back to Canada from Phoenix. I never did fine out how it compaired to the Garmin he bought. I have found that built in GPS systems are mostly garbage. I drove a friends Jag back from out of town last summer and it kept wanting me to head east at a right angle to the correct route!
