This has been discussed before but I'm not sure how to search the archives for it, so here's the jist of it:
Dashboard tells you of "firmware" updates available even when they're just foreign language voices, text updates, etc. that you choose not to download.
The general consensus here among experienced users is to only use Webupdater for firmware and other updates and not to use Dashboard.

I realize that. But it wasn't there yesterday. Just making everyone aware of it.
And, there was no new 'anything' (voices, text, etc) in the updater.
