Update one POI at a Time on GPS

Is it possible to only update one of the POI files that have already been transferred to the GPS? Many times I only need to update one or two POI files on the GPS, but currently have to run through the whole collection POI's with the POI loader. Seems I saw a process that would allow this, but have lost the link to it.
You can use he re-naming
You can use he re-naming process see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/16639 and http://www.poi-factory.com/node/8779

Renaming Method
If you search for the term 'renaming' (without the quotes) you will find several topics that discuss this alternative method of loading POI files.

EDIT: Well dang, Charlie beat me to it.

Renaming Method
Thank you Gary and Charles for your replies. It appears that my GPS is assigned a drive letter on my computer and I can see files in the folders. However, I do not see the multitude of individual POI's that I have installed on my GPS. Maybe I am misreading the instructions. I had figured I would see a McDonalds.gpi, Texaco.gpi, Pizza Hut.gpi, etc. This is apparently going to take some playing around with to get the hang of it. I do see the poi.gpi file.
When you done one at a time
When you done one at a time you did have it in a folder when you ran poiloader correct? For example
My pois.
McDonalds.csv
McDonalds.bmp
Then
1.Loaded with poiloader
2.Open up Garmin drive
3.Clicked on garmin folder. Then poi folder.
4.You see poi.gpi and right clicked on it and re-named to McDonalds.gpi
5.Do next one the same way as above until you have completed the ones you want to download using re-named method.
All others files that require regular updates load them all together as usual. The renamed files will not be over written.

OK, thanks again. I will give that a try.
