there is a hack

There is a hack, and it is completely legal.

On this site are some instructions that told how to edit one of the other voice profiles where the keyboard is stored for that voice. I believe the voice file I used on my old Nuvi 200 was British Jack. The instructions told you how to modify the file to change the keyboard layout to something that looked close to a QWERTY keyboard. It wasn't exact and it didn't look real pretty, but it was functionable.

I wish I could remember the thread, but I do remember it telling you you had to use the exact number of spaces in order to move the soft keys around.

Of course, before moddng any of the Garmin files - MAKE A BACKUP!!!!

You can not access the drive

In fact, I knew it a while. Yes, in Winexplorer (My Computer) never shows as an accessible drive even you installed Garmin USB Drivers.

It only works with Garmin Web updater and POI Loader. Unless there is other ways to get in & modify.

I guess that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to modify the Hard Disk Drive which has stored system files.

wish there was a fix for this...takes me a bit longer to search for the proper letters, you'd think I was smarter than that!

HELL Yes! Extremely limited. All I have on it are important POIs such as RLC, Speed Cams, Rest Areas, truck stops and Walmart. Can't even put McDonald, because the file is too large to mix with other poi. Too bad that we can't put POI on SD either.
