How do I down load a POI sound into my Garmin Nuvi

I downloaded the POI Loader and then created a file and placed POI MP3 sounds within the file, from the website. I then tried using the POI Loader by pointing the POI Loader to my files. I received a messages that states "their are no files in that directory"

Please help; I have been on this site trying for a few hrs now.

You have to point poiloader

You have to point poiloader at the main folder you have all the files in.See http://www.poi-factory.com/node/25721 .Does your unit have ability to use mp3?Don't see what model you have on your page.

I asked this on another thread but here goes. I loaded custom POIs (red light cameras) in my 765 and they are in my Extra file. I backed up the unit files on my harddrive but don't know where the custom POI files are. I also want to download the new map but do not know where the maps are in the backup file in case I have to switch back. Can someone help.

Are all your files there.

POI and Sound files must have same name (up to the extension) and I think it is case sensitive. Both files (and the Icon should you want it) have to be in the same directory.

It almost sounds like you only put the sound file in the directory. Make sure you have the POI file there as well.
