How

What or which app did you find useful? How do the linux applications integrate with the general functions widely discussed here such as poi editing, poi file maintenance, etc.

Most of the linux applications seem to be pointed to trying to use open source mapping in some form to create a sudo GPS function on the computer screen.

I would be interested in practical linux solutions to the aforementioned poi/voice related issues. These would hopefully be near seamless with regard to the existing windows based editors.

We seem to be along way from there and closing slowly.
