This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related.
This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.
MaryAnn Melby AKA Miss POI
This is really a good start to a new Year
And back to work . . .
Well showing up to work anyway...
yes, it's back to work in this cold weather.
I'm not as late as I have been being. Guess having to get up and take grandkinds to school for my daughter helps start my day off earlier. Not sure is that's so good!!!
#8 today. I hope everyone has a Happy New Year!!!
HOPE ALL AT POI-FACTORY HAVE A GREAT NEW YEAR.
Hooray - a new year... hope its better than the last.
Hope all had a great holiday season.
Now we can work on getting global warming back in gear. It's really too cold out here.
I hope everyone had a great holiday and a happy new year.
Happy New Year!
Have a great 2010!
I'm still learning how to use my new computer and Windows 7! Hooking up a home network is very hard unless all machines are running Win 7. I've spent many hours getting the machines to talk to each other and use the joint printer.
Only 349 days left better start shopping to miss the rush.
17! Not Bad.
Happy New Year to all!
...just not quite as high.
This week I will be catching up on all of the work that came in last week. I will also be compiling the numbers for 2009 and posting them next Monday morning along with the Contributor of the Year awards.
Yes I am going to make you all wait:P
I am such a meany.
May your GPS take you to new and interesting places during the coming year.
to a New Year! Best to all.
Happy new year.
And not thru the woods or lake or something because you did not follow your judgement.
wish everyone a great week in a new year.
The beginning of a new week...in a new month...in a new year...in a new decade.
How should 2010 be pronounced?
(1) Two thousand ten
(2) Twenty ten
... still off for another week !
it's the dog's fault
My daughter got back from Europe where she had taken my brand new nuvi 1300 for 5 weeks. I got to use it for 2 days before it died. Luckily it worked great for her, but now I lost the saved locations she had set for us in Germany. But at least I still have the Europe map for my new replacement 1300.
HNY (Happy New Year).
Happy New Year !!
as each day of winter passes by....I'm one day closer to getting my 5er out of storage and heading out for the mountains! Can't wait to try out the new GPS in the hills of Texas, and mountains of Colorado and New Mexico!
Let's make 2010 a record year for Safe Travel!
Back to work for another 12 months
I am just glad my car has been starting in the below zero temps lately. It was -20 yesterday. Happy New Year!!
Hope everyone had a good holiday season. Looking forward to a better 2010.
Looking forward to a better year!
I've got those dreaded Monday blahs!
71 degrees here in the Phoenix area this afternoon.
I just drove down from Las Vegas and cannot wait until the bridge across the Colorado River at Hoover Dam is completed.
I spent 2 hours and 20 minutes in a single file line of traffic nearly 4 miles long waiting to cross the dam so tourists could ogle and photograph the structure last week.
The sad part is that I know how bad traffic can be at Hoover over the holidays and I usually take an alternate route, but my co-pilot of 37 years convinced me the alternate route was too much more of a trip!
A great week and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all on the forum.
Most of my students made it back to school today and for a Monday it went well, we can only hope that the rest of the school year goes well!
not much to say, mostly because i'm frozen in chicago. it's cooooold.
I've been slacking lately:-(
I like Twenty ten. It's sounds so different!!!
Leaving for Las Vegas on Wed. (my first time there) and looking forward to leaving this COLD Chicago weather! Brrr...!
71 degrees here in the Phoenix area this afternoon. .
Don't want to hear about the great weather. In Texas we don't normally have too much, or too long cold. I am (well over 60) and have never seen snow on the ground so long. I live out in the sticks and the snow we had Christmas Eve is still in a few areas along the side of the roads. It's suppose to be 10 to 15 degrees here Thursday!!! I think the global warming is turning into global freezing.
Two number 1's
We're supposed to leave IA for Phoenix Wednesday and it looks like we'll be stuck here until Friday now with the snow coming. I couldn't move the wife to leave today, she wasn't ready to go and had a hair appt tomorrow so here we sit. O well be there Sunday.
