Harvey's POI file

We used the Harvey's POI file to try to locate a Harvey's in Kanata, Ontario. There are two listed in the POI file(Kanata 1 and Kanata 2). The one labeled "Kanata 1" is not there. I checked the Harvey's web site and only one is located in Kanata. The one listed as "Kanata 2" is correct.
This one should be deleted from the Harvey's POI file.

BTW, we used the CSV version. I do not know if the .GPX version has the same error.

Thanks for the info. I am surprised to hear there is no Harveys there. I am not that far away myself since I am in Gatineau but I have not been to that Home Depot yet. I do visit the Home Depots since my Son-in-law works for Home Depot in Orleans.
It may tak a day or so to update the files since I noticed from the website that there are new locations and I may as well add them at the same time.
Yes, it would be the same for both the CSV and GPX files since they are "generated" from the same .XLS file.
When you find an "error" in a POI file you can also go to the POI in question and click on the name of the Maintainer and then send him/her a note via their contact tab if it has been activated. If the contact tab is not active, you can send it to Miss POI and I am sure she will be able to help you.

Did you check inside the Home Depot. Several websites say it exists as:

I just spoke to Home Depot and the Harveys at this location has in fact been closed. I will remove it from the files.

We went looking for the Harvey's at the Home Depot location after the Bell Cup semi-final Hockey game. We did not see any sign indicating there was a Harvey's there. It was so cold that we did not want to get out and start walking around looking for it.... At the other Home Depot locations, is there a Harvey's sign outside that makes it obvious it is there?
BTW, congratulations on your 'Avalanches de Gatineau' Atom hockey team tournament win. They beat out my Grandson's team in the semi-final and we did not have to get up so early for the Sunday final at 7:00am. There was some mixed emotion there....

I kind of like having a topic on the POI file where corrections can be added to an easily found forum topic. Anything that makes it easier for the users to input corrections is better for all of us.
