Enjoying from a distance
I think we will just sit back, and enjoy the "winter wonderland" from our home in FL. Just can't get into the idea of being in snow & cold again after 12 years down here.
Us transplants from NH have got soft.
Was in VA the weekend before last and "enjoyed" 4" of snow and 20 deg temps. That was enough.
Will go shopping today in my shorts & Golf shirt!

I took Jack for a ride to visit friends- I let him guide the way. It was a different route from my plan, but he made it just fine. I did come back my way and felt it was a better route. Less windy roads and less construction. Thanks Jack

Snowmobile riding
Today is the opening day of snowmobile season in Wisconsin. I just came back from a 42 mile ride. Beautiful scenery.
To me, riding a snowmobile is equivilent to breathing bus fumes. Here in southern Tenn, snowmobiles are not heard of. In the last 12 years if I added up our total snowfall, it wouldn't be a combined total of 4". Let's just keep it that way.
