nasty wx for the high desert,chilly and even a trace of the wet stuff yesterday made for uncomfortable golfing.

something about

LED traffic lights in Wisconsin, which saves money by using less electricty but are not so useful in times of snow storm. There are reports of accidents because drivers don't know when to move or stop since the lights are not enough and the heat is not strong enough to melt snow or ice.

I have been using the phone paired with my 760 a couple weeks now, the only problem I found is the person on the other end is hearing themselves like an echo, I turned the volume down but still a bit of echo...

It appears that my previous post of moving back home to Ohio is one step closer as of last Friday. I hope to have things potentially wrapped up at the first of the New Year - A nice Christmas present indeed.

Long trip got longer

Our plan to return to MA from AZ has now changed to having Christmas in TX with my brother and his family. It's been a fun journey thanks in great part to the Garmin 765T that I bought for this trip.

This was posted by a friend on Facebook. He went to a bar last week after the game in Soldiers Field. He was badmouthing the Bears and Jay Cutler in particular. Things got ugly. The Bears QB was sitting at a nearby table. He stood up & threw a beer pitcher at my friend. However, the waitress intercepted it.

Weather

Local weather should be a standard feature on all GPS units. It cannot be much of a cost to include weather.

no more fumes

with the new 4 cycle engines in the newer snowmobiles. It's really no different now than driving your car. Pollution is way down.

This is funny. Love it. Cutler must have been suffering from snow blindness with all the snow in Baltimore and couldn't see the dark Purple jersey's of the Ravens.
