Garmin 1300 and POI's Where Also Turned on another to this site!

EDITED TO SHOW CORRECT MODEL #....
Friend at work brought in his new Garmin 1490T nuvi, and I walked him through loading POI's...
I was going to show him where the POI's could be found, but WOW the Nuvi 1490T and my Nuvi 660 do not share any GUI structure!!! And of course he didn't bring his manual....
I know how to do a search for POI's in my 660, but couldn't help him with the 1490T.
Is this something that could be determined via an email reply, in case he comes here to search for an answer?

Page 51 of the Owner's Manual for the nuvi 1300 indicates that the Custom POIs are under Where to? > Extras > Custom POIs.

That sounds like where they are on my 660

A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

Model in question was a Nuvi 1490T
GUI was altogether different, and I could't show the POI's....
I'll edit first post with correct model info...

THANK YOU, Motorcycle Mama! My Garmin 1300 series didn't come with an Owner's Manual, and I couldn't figure out why my seemingly successful downloads weren't anywhere to be found. But when I followed your advice, ouila! There they are!
Now what I don't understand is why my POI Factory Favorites shows NO downloads....
Oh, well. The important thing is that I do have them!
