Hi

Hi

Hello to All

I am very new to this site and forum. I have been doing allot of reading before saying,"Hello", to all. I was unware about many of the things I have been just now learning about my Garmin GPS. I somewhat feel like I have had my head in the sand.
I can see that I still need to read more before downloading POI's. I'm not sure what I would like or need.
While reading I shall in a way be meeting each of you and shall ask questions once I know the kind I need to ask.
May your day be better than your yesterday;
Heywelder

I put the red light file on my GPS and it worked great

Heywelder - welcome

Welcome to the site. As you have begun to learn this site is an entry for the Borg Queen to assimilate you. Oops - you have been assimilated. Now, get to work! This is a factory after all.

Cold weather

Well, it's 14 degrees this morning and sunny. Looks like a nice day for a motorcycle ride. With all the gear and heated clothing it should be fairly comfortable.

The three kinds...

There are three kinds of men:
Those who learn by reading.
Those who learn by observation.
And those who just have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.

This is the time of year I feel sorry for all the dyslexic children who've sent off their holiday wish lists to Satan.

Mornin' All

Mornin' All;
I have been very surprised to learn of the fun things a GPS un it can do. I wish I had this puppy when I was always wanting to see what was around the next corner or over the next hill. I basically use it to prowl around Hotlanta,[Atlanta], but now that I am learning more about it I shall again start exploring this beautiful state.
I'm still in the process of reading in order that I have a better chance of not re-asking questions that have been answered. The icons and noise stuff is trying to get my head to think.
That was a good game last night but would have liked it better if it had gone the other way. For a while it was like having to quarterbacks against one. I don't recall seeing those types of plays before or if so I was brain dead or a sleep.
May your day be better than your yesterday;
Craig--Heywelder

Holiday's

Happy Holidays to all, hope everyone stays safe.

Even though it's politicaly incorrect;
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
Happy Hanukkah &
Kwanzaa

There I think I have them all right..

No Playoff's

Sorry your team didn't make it but that seems to be life in the NFL..

Better luck next year.
I used to hear the words wait until next year when I lived in the Chicago area, with the Cubs and the Bears even the White Sox.. Go figure.

How about the Blackhawks!

How about the Blackhawks! They have a legitimate shot at the cup this year. They beat the defending champs last week in a classic game with almost no scoring from two powerhouse teams. It had a playoff feel in December.

speaking of go blackhawks,

speaking of go blackhawks, was at the game last night. it was a great atmosphere, even if kane got a bit bloodied, and the lightning showed no class (running the goalie with under 2 minutes remaining while down 4 goals)... hope they've finally sorted their offensive woes. smile

Christmas

Christmas is almost here. My grandkids are so excited!!! arrow grin
