Trip to Hollywood Florida

Well, just got back from a round trip from Chicagp's Northwest suburbs to Hollywood Florida. Used by 760 with the 2010.30 maps. Worked flawlessly except for one strange behavior while passing through Indianapolis. I was directed to exit left whan I should have stayed right.

In Florida, my wife and I went on a 10 day cruise to the Carribean. I used the 760 to trac the course of the cruise ship. Very neat. I loaded of with custom Pois for the trip and was very happy. Interestingly, the only Red-light cameras I ran into were in Illinois.

While in St Thomas in the US Virgin Island, my wife made a comment that someone should create a POI for all of the jewelry shops. (Just what I don't need.)

For the trip I did some pre planning and loaded several hotels as favorites, that I might stop at on the way down and then back up. During the drive down, I choose the one I wanted to stay at from my favorites used the bluetooth phone connection on my 760 to call and make a reservation. Then I aded the favorite as a via point to the trip, I was guided right to the hotel.

A question I have for someone out there, is there a way to remove a particular via point while it is active? I could not find anyeay to delete it without starting over.

When you do

It would be nice to delete a via if for some reason you changed your mind about a via stop. The best way I have found to re-cover from this.Is go back and stop the route then touch recently found and touch the originial destination you had selected and touch go.Cuts out a few steps of having to re-locate a custom or internal poi.

one of many wishes

Deleting a via is one of many things on my wish list that I wish Garmin would listen to their customer and add to their units.
