Is there any way to have the Garmin gives an alarm when you exceed a set speed?

Ease of use 3 - Speed Alerts

How do you set a speed alert from a POI file? I'd typically like an alert when I'm about 6 miles over the speed limit. Garmin should add speed alerts as a feature on their units - i think it would be very popular.
