This is an export of data from a site I run, http://ridetoeat.com. It is different than other restaurant POI lists in that it is not necessarily about good places to eat, nor about good places to stop while on the road.

The difference may seem subtle, but RideToEat is about the sort of places you would plan a trip around, even if it's just a Sunday ride. It might be the food, or it might be the roads, or the scenery involved in getting there. Something special.

Some may be in the city, or along a major highway... but many will be well off the beaten path.

Each entry has a detailed rating on ridetoeat.com, including roads, food, price, cleanliness, service and overall.

You don't need a motorcycle to visit any of these spots, but you will have a better time getting there if you do!

UPDATES:

4/2/2012: Several updates. Those who have been following the collection for a while may recall that long ago I capped it at 1000 entries, deleting old unreviewed entries as new reviews came in. Well, we finally got our 1000th real review - so the cap is lifted and the list will start to grow. Up to 1018 now.

We even have a new country now! Apparently there's a hot dog stand in Denmark we need to check out.

7/12/2012: No major changes, just a few dozen new entries and a few closed restaurants removed.
