This is an export of data from a site I run, http://ridetoeat.com. It is different than other lists in that it is not necessarily about good places to eat, nor about good places to stop while on the road. Instead, it is about the sort of places you would plan a trip around, even if it's just a Sunday ride. It might be the food, or it might be the roads or scenery involved in getting there. Some may be in the city, or along a major highway... but many will be well off the beaten path. Many of the locations have detailed ratings on ridetoeat.com, including roads, food, price, cleanliness, service and overall. You don't need a motorcycle to visit any of these spots, but you will have a better time getting there if you do!
UPDATES:
10/11/2009: A few more additions, including my first Mexico entries! Affected PA, AR and of course Mexico.
11/4/2009: Additions in AL, AZ, CA, ID, MS, MT, NC, WA, WV, Mexico, Yukon Territory, Mexico, British Columbia and Newfoundland. State by state KML files now available at ridetoeat.com/rte/map.
3/19/2010: most previous update notes deleted

5/6/2010: Routine updates. Finally got one for North Dakota! All 50 states now represented.
5/24/2010: Several updates.
6/25/2010: A few additions, removed a few duplicates. Up to 64% now!
6/29/2010: Corrected major flaws in the GPX file... most of the fields had been missing. Thanks to "Box Car" for pointing the problem out to me. Gack... I wonder how long it's been screwed up?
7/8/2010: A few more updates. Up to 65% now! Almost two thirds!

8/6/2010: More updates. 67% now...less than 1/3 to go!
