Restored from last night

We're back online, with regular posting enabled. I have not been able to get any solid ETA from the hosting company, so I had to restore the site from last night's backup.

Any posts or files uploaded between 3:30AM and noon Eastern time today are not in the database. The same is true for any user accounts created during this time.

My Locations and a few other features are disabled until we complete our move to the new server.

I'm sorry for today's disruption and the posts that were lost this morning.

Thank you for being patient.

Now I can get my daily fix.lol
Are you aware that the POI files tab does not show the latest files on the page?
Glad you got the system back up. BTW who is paying for the new server? How much does it cost?

Yes -- it's temporarily removed while we wait for the new server. (It's another change to lighten the load.)

The new server is $100 / month. It's paid with the $5 contributions collected from the red light cameras page.

Thanks everyone smile

Donations?

I'd like to see a link for donations to help support this site. Any chance of setting up a 'PayPal' link?

From what I've read you

From what I've read you already give more than you receive, retiredtechnician.

An easy way for us newbies to contribute is to simply pay for the red light POI via Paypal. I already have. You give and you get at the same time!

I suggest that!

I suggested something like a Paypal link a while back. I know Miss POI gave me a Link to donate a while back which I did.

I found so many wonderful POI files that it was worth the donation.

I suggest that we do this.
