nuvi 885t How Much Internal Memory ?

I have a 4gb internal memory on my nuvi 885t.
You could check it by connecting your usb port on your computer directly to your Nuvi unit.
1st select my computer on your desktop and select
the drive your unit is hooked up to, then select
properties, this will show you how much memory you
have on your unit..

Ahhh Joe, I think he is asking because he is thinking about getting one and would like to know it's capacity before he decides.
If you click on his name, you will see he has a 2730 and a 7500.

The internal mem is approx 4GB with only 3.48 usable.

I am assuming that the rest of the 4GB mem is partitioned for the operating system software.

That's exactly what I needed.

You will always loose space just formating drives/memory storage cards. Plus there are the system programs, application files and data files that come with the unit.
