Voice, Australian English-Karen(TTS) v2.00
Voice, Australian English-Lee(TTS) v2.00

Changes from version 1.90 to version 2.00:

Improved pronunciation of street names where map phonetics are available.

This seems to correct the issue some were having with v1.90 and the 2010.20 map update.

Thanks so much.

I've also managed to forget (and can't find the proper search terms now) how to pull up a diagnostic screen with the current language versions with my nuvi 750. I can retrieve some diagnostics by a 5-sec touch on the speedometer, but that doesn't include the language versions. I've tried the 5-sec touch to the battery level and signal (upper right and left) but they no longer retrieve diagnostic screens. I've also tried holding several locations during GPS startup. Am I imagining that I used to be able to retrieve a screen with the current language versions or do I just need help again to find them?

Thanks.

Thanks.

I can get to my page with the barrery level in the upper right but I have to hold it for a long time, maybe 20 seconds.

On the nuvi 7x0 series:

Tools>Settings>System>About

The voice (or "Audio") version is listed at the top-right.

Recalculating

Thanks. I've updated the file.

But I was temporarily back to the annoying "recalculating." Granted, Karen is not as bad as Jill, but I prefer something else. Even something as mundane as "Selecting alternate route."

I opened TurboCCC's TTSVoiceEditor (http://turboccc.wikispaces.com/TTSVoiceEditor) which didn't call up any of the files at all, until I got the latest version of the VoiceEditor.

So my thanks to TurboCCC also.

Sorry, I was looking for the full list of each voice's versions on my nuvi: as far as I can tell, it's only available in the "30-second touch over the battery icon" series of diagnostic screens as indicated by mgarledge.

Thanks again for the knowledge of the two new Aussie voice versions.

.

Yes, the full list is only in the nuvi's diagnostic area (press & hold the battery icon or it's location if externally powered).
