Nuvi 680 Battery Died

Just thought I would pass on to all that I contacted Garmin regarding my Nuvi 680 which started to have battery problems (16 months - out of warranty) and they were very supportive and replaced the battery on the unit free of charge. Thanks Garmin! GMD

Thats great. Im gonna have to do that with my 680. Ive just noticed its only holding a 2 hour charge nowadays. But thats standard life expectancy of any li-ion battery....

Ya, yur rite. I was jus thinkin bout my probs as usual. Im sure battery wear isnt covered under warranty as with the first posters "battery problems". Big difference. I'll try regardless.
As for Garmin CS, well I had to wait 30 mins on hold to get a map update product key yesterday. But once they got on the phone, they were great.
