Very small circles appear on 265t map

What are or what causes very small circles to appear what I believe are random locations that ID nothing in particular?

I get them too

Beats me as to what they are. The ones I see are orange.

You can walk a horse to water, but a pencil has to be led.

All kidding aside....

Zoom in on those "circles" and take a closer look. Once zoomed in as close as possible, touch the circle to see if you get a notation. You might find those are "Favs" you may have created and saved into your GPS unit.

.

Or they might be the built in POIs. There was a discussion on a different forum about the lack of detail on the new models/maps.

Some wag said that they were UFO landings, but my people are denying that they landed in those spots.

We all know their circles are much more elaborate! Why just last week, cruising the galaxy...

Crop circles and things that go 'bump in the nite'...I knew it! GPS's do provide contact with things in outerspace.

Teaser landings!

See HHGTTG for the explanation.

Don't Panic.

Personally, I'm going for inadvertently added POI's when you touch/dragged the screen but were too fast.

Actually, I never have a problem with that as a lot of people claim I'm only 50% fast. wink

Not fast, not slow?

As in... "I'm not fast, I'm not slow, so I must be half-fast"?

Mine are Orange on my 660

Mine are Orange on my 660 and 885T.

Gray on 760

All of the POI's I have on my SD card show as gray circles. You could describe them as "dots" too. They look to be 3D with a shadow on the bottom right. It almost looks like the symbol for a large city.
