Is 885T now reliable enough to buy?

I have read the posts and it seems like (??) the firmware updates have resolved the 885T issues. Is this indeed correct? I hate to blow $400 if they are still a problem...

885T

Go ahead and buy. The problems have been cleared and it is a great unit.

Same for the 765T. Very stable now, great unit overall.(As long as you use Turboccc's voice editor to increase volume) But I bet Garmin lost sales after people did research and found all the problems in the early software....

765T Touch Screen

I have read that the touch screen on the 765T is not as stable as the screens on other Garmin models.
Kind of erratic at times. What is your take.
I am trying to decide between the 885T and the 765T, but screen issues on the 765T seem to be setting me back on that model.

Yes, love mine and have had no problems with it at all. I have used it since May and have used it for a few thousand miles all over California, Nevada and Arizona.

I like it so much I just sold my 760 on EBay because I no longer used it after being spoiled by the 885T.
