The EULA states that you can only use MapSource on one computer.
See Bentbiker's post in this thread:

The agreement was changed to limit use to one computer with the 2009 update. See my post (about 1/3 of the way in this thread):

MapSource
As far as I know you can install it on as many computers as you want, I have it on three, but you can only load maps to the GPS it's registered with. I'm not sure when they changed it, but when I got my 2610 I could use MapSource with two different GPSRs. When I got my 2820 it was dropped to one GPS.
No Limits
While the EULA says you're licensed for one computer at a time, there is technically no limit. Along with Mapsource you have to install all of your licensed maps (which can sometimes be the challenging part)on each machine.
I have Mapsource installed on a desktop with most current maps for my Nuvi 760, Streetpilot 2610 and GPS10 (different maps for netbook and PDA). On my Netbook I just have the GPS10 mapping installed. My laptop has Mapsource and just the Nuvi 760 map. It just comes down to your intended use for each machine.
Cheers
Nuvi 760

Any Number for your own personal use for the licensed GPS.

I Installed...
I installed MapSource on my laptop using 2009 maps. On my desktop I have MapSource using the 2010 maps. I was thinking about updating my laptop to the 2010 ver. but they both work and I think ill leave well enough alone.
-- Directions... Sure! Take the next three right turns & your there.
Yes you can (at least in my experience)
Any Number for your own personal use for the licensed GPS.
I agree. I have several GPSr's with different maps loaded on three different computers.
In addition I have contacted Garmin a couple times and they have been more than helpful in instructing me how to get the maps loaded on to my additional computers.
