speed cameras on I-5 in Washington State?

I was driving south on I-5 this weekend. When I was about to enter a construction area I saw a sign saying that the speed limit was camera enforced. I did not see any camera, but I did not know they were doing this in Washington. Anyone have any information on this?

which part of I-5 is this?

Could you clarify a little bit? I am wondering which stretch of I-5, say from which exit does this appear?

Cameras on I-5

Yes, they are currently in construction area around Centralia/Chehalis but I've seen them just south of Olympia too. The cameras are mounted in a parked white WaDOT van. If you look closely, you can see the flash mounted on the outside. They can be automated (no operator) or manned. If they are manned then you may fall under the rule regarding speeding when workers are present (ie: fine doubles).

The vans are easy to spot if you are a safe driver watching for workers along the side of the highway.
