Florida Birding Trail

I am currently working on a file for the Panhandle Section of the Florida Birding Trail. Are there folks who would be interested in working on the other three sections (East, West, South)?

You can get copies of the guides in hard copy, or download copies at:
http://floridabirdingtrail.com/guide.htm

I am using TurboCCC's awesome "Extra POI Editor". What a great program.

I don't think I realized how much work really has to go into creating one of these files. Many thanks to those who have taken the time and effort to create these great resources.

Protocol Question

question In working on the Panhandle section guide it is possible to copy/paste the descriptions from the PDF guide and put it into the comments section. Is it appropriate to do this?

The material does not appear to be copyrighted or otherwise protected. The guides are free to the public.

Should I contact them and get permission & would that make it more appropriate?

Thanks,
Rod

It sure would be nice if I could get folks to step up with the guide sections for their area. It really helps if you are kind of familiar with the local area when placing the points.
