on my "old" nuvi 750 I would see the address and phone numbers for most POI's I imported, however on my new 265wt I don't have any of the address or phone number information when I access the custom POI's from the extra's menu...any ideas? Also, as I am a newer to the forum, please let me know if I have posted this in the wrong forum...
More
I've had the same thing happen of my nuvi. Provided the data is included in the POI, look at the bottom of the screen for the "More" button. Press that and the additional data should be there.

Just like ajhope stated you
Just like ajhope stated you have to use the more button. What I do is load my csv files to Extra Poi Editor and save as a gpx file http://turboccc.wikispaces.com/Extra_POI_Editor then everything shows on the first screen.I also use it to set the proximity alerts to the file so I can use express mode instead of manual for poiloader.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 500 and it behaves in the same way.
you need to identify the POI
on my "old" nuvi 750 I would see the address and phone numbers for most POI's I imported, however on my new 265wt I don't have any of the address or phone number information when I access the custom POI's from the extra's menu...any ideas? ...
I suspect the problem may have to do with how the original POI is formatted, true line breaks or
characters. The true line brakes were used in some models of POI, but could cause exactly this confusion in newer models that follow the
convention. I think the
format wuld work in either type of nuvi, but would not be as well formatted in older nuvi's.
If you would ID what POI you are seeing the problem with someone could confirm which type of breaks it uses. Also, as a test I could suggest that you download the Piggly Wiggly NC POI set, which I know uses
line breaks, and see if that does not display information including phone numbers in your GPS correctly.
Unfortunately, any discussion of how to format POI files to prevent this problem brings out some users who resort to name calling (such as Gestapo) and gets the thread shut down. I really wish I knew some way to discuss this rationally, but that doesn't seem possible on this forum.
You can look at this post
You can look at this post for some real detail about the line breaks. It applies to the 265 also http://www.poi-factory.com/node/1316
