Can you do this on a Magellan

OK... I have been searching before I posted and really cannot find the information.

Here is what I would like to know...

On my Garmin units when I save a location I can assign an icon, i.e., building, home, church, etc and name it Jerry's House or Methodist Church, etc. When I am in map mode and traveling close to the save location the icon and name shows up. I am not seeing this on my Magellan 4350. In fact... when I got to the office this morning I saved my office location and figured it would show up on the map... nada. Am I missing something? confused

Does Magellan not have this feature? Thanks for your input.

Cheers,
Ronnie

Think I know the answer

Apparently no takers on this question...

I think I have figured out the answer myself... it doesn't. I guess I am just too used to my Garmins.
The 4350 is a great unit... just missing a few things I think would make it a better unit.

I'm quite sure that that is

I'm quite sure that that is just how the Magellan's work. It doesnt quite make sense to me either. It would be nice to have the spots show up on the map.

oops

double post, sorry

using poi editor

There is an option in the Edit Category window, select "Display this category on the Magellan Maestro map screen" This should show the location's icon, but only if that poi file is active. At least it works this way for my 4250.
