POI Problems Nuvi 205

Hi. I just today got my new Nuvi 205 and downloaded the POI Loader software. Then, I selected several of the POI files on this website to try it out on. I put them all in a folder and the POI Loader software said I successfully transferred the files over to my GPS. BUT, the new POIs are NOT showing up on my GPS!! (I know they aren't there because there are several POIs which should be popping up because they are close to my home). Does anyone know what's going on? I have written to Garmin too (but haven't heard from them yet). Thank You. Merilee

http://www.poi-factory.com/node/21405. Some models require that you be in 2D mode or Browse mode and zoomed all the way in to see the icons, but if it said they were loaded, they are on the GPS. Go to Extras, click on one, click on the Show Map button and you should see the icon.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

Thank you. My problem was that I wasn't going to Extras. I was just searching in the POI files. I didn't realize that custom POIs were treated differently than those pre-loaded in the unit.
