Update Maps on Mac Computer

I purchased the 2010 Lifetime maps and have a question on installing on Road Trip. I see the installer puts the maps on the computer first thing and then updates the GPS. I can't find where the 2010 maps are. I have a file for the 2009 maps I installed last year, and the 2010 shows as a choice on Road Trip, but I do not find the file either on the GPS on on the Mac. Where is the installer putting the files?

I should have thought of that. I had a complete blank. I used "find" and couldn't even find them that way. Thanks again.

Spotlight options...
Spotlight is being "helpful"...
If you do a Spotlight search for Navigator in the file name, it won't come up with anything.
Click on the gear in the Spotlight box to Show Search Criteria, and then go to System files and select "include" (the default is don't include).
The search should now show your City Navigator file in the Garmin folder.
(And it's a big file -- the 2009 maps are 1.37Gb)

Delete old map from Road Trip
So I'm guessing that by deleting the old map, or any additional installed map, from this folder means it is no longer veiwable in Road Trip? Just trying to save space and if I no longer need the map this is the only way I have found to get rid of the map.
Research here and other sites I felt comfortable in deleting the file and it did work. I believe it was implied here that I could do this but not being too familiar with Mac yet I did not understand it.
Great site here and lots of info.
Timely
Good topic. I just bought the lifetime and will be installing via iMac. Fingers crossed.
Thanks!
Useful info for Mac users, I'll be updating my 650...

If you a lot of updates, be sure to clean out your old ones, they take up a lot of space.
