TourGuide POI

When I load the TourGuide POI, they tend to repeat over and over the alert. The alerts work great, but I have had to remove many of the sound for POIs I have loaded and put in quieter sound alerts. Should it be repeating the sound alerts over and over again?

Just wanting to make sure I'm not missing something and know I can get a good explanation from people here.

Alerts

I have noticed that the proximity alert will sound when approaching and also after you pass the point. Apparently proximity means just that.

Appreciate the reply. It seems like it is doing more times than that, but it could be that I have multiple POIs in the same area.

I appreciate your reply. It helps me know that my 255w is working properly.

Check you settings

Check you settings .tools,proximity points,touch change under proximity alerts,audio at bottom.See if you have continuous or single tone selected.

it out. I have single tone under the audio for POI alert under settings.

Small turns

Hi

I've noticed small turns toward the point will generate an additional alert at times.
