Don't think so but haven't tried just yet, still playing with the features, I'll try later on and post if there is a way.

I tried putting some files

I tried putting some files onto the magellan via the Maps method (as you had posted for the 4350) and through the custom POI editor from magellan. On the zoomed out view, I can see small red dots that correlate to the POIs I put in there, but I don't get any sort of alert or icon indicating these are POIs when I actually drive through the red dots.
