Hi,

Just want to let you know that I downloaded the firmware of the Magellan Maestro 4250 North America from magellangps.com. Anybody who wants it is welcome to email me. The update is the 4.6 Rel 1.

Why would anybody find that better than getting it directly from Magellan......like you did ??

It's been available for about a month now.

Firmware

Just log in to your Magellan account and click on updates- it will take you to the latest firmware and maps for your unit.

Thanks... did not want to register quite yet and would rather receive the update via alternate means as gilligan proposed... Would you by chance be able to sent it to me? Much appreciated !

tried to register my Magellan 4250 to get firmware update and for some reason, would not take my serial number?

can you forward me the download if you get it?

Please I need Help, I accidentally erased all my >data trying to upgrade to new firmware sent by Magellan. I think >we all need to restore back the data. ANYONE could spare a >backup data for Magellan Maestro 4250 GPS please? Thanks

You know that distributing Magellan's software is against their TOS right?
Making it also against the TOS here at the POI-Factory
becareful on what you offer that you don't own.

And what ELSE were you trying to do other than a simple firmware update. It is EXTREMELY rare for a Maestro update to cause problems......if you follow the instructions.

CALL MAGELLAN.....if you are a legal owner.
