New to this thing

I am so used to using a loran back when i was boating. Now i recently (10 Months) bought a motorhome and a Garmin 550. I sure do like the fact that it gets you there but the only complaint is some of the routes it takes you are pretty tight for a 42 ft. Hope to get better

second, re: your 42' vehicle issue ... what preferences do you have set? I'm not that familiar with the 550 specifically, but you should be able to change your settings from 'car' to truck/bus etc. which should help. Goto: tools < navigation < vehicle
