sd card survey

hi all. i have a 4gb sd card (class 6) i was going to use on my 255w when i get it. i read somewhere only a 2gb card will work on garmin . please post sucesses or failures with brand and size used.

I have a 4 gig in my nuvi 660 with all of europe 2009 maps. Works fine.

I use a 2 gig on the Nuvi
I use a 2 gig on the Nuvi 350 and it works fine. You probably won't need a 4 gig anyway.

I load about a month's worth of podcasts onto a 4GB SD card. A while back I had heard you needed the newest firmware, but there have probably been a number of firmware updates since then. At least for my nuvi 350.

I use a 16mb card that came with one of my Canon cameras. Works fine for my purpose, and holds loads of fantastic PIO's from this site.I have a larger card, 4gb, with my MP'3, but hardly use it.

I have a 2GB card, but have nothing on it since I have space on my GPS. I'm trying to figure out what to put on it....
SD Card for the Nuvi 350
I currently use an SDHC class 6 card which cost me $28 - 16 GB MicroCenter house brand. I have all my POI's & mp3 files on it. Works just fine.
Make sure you've updated the Nuvi system software. I think that in the last few updates, Garmin made it possible to use larger/SDHC cards.
