Anyone else have voice dial problems with the 765t?

This does not really answer your question, but to let you know I can voice dial with my 765T using my Windows cell phone, so that feature does work on the 765T at least with some phones.

My only advice is to check that the bluetooth connection on the GPS unit is paired with your specific phone, not the generic phone connection. If I pair generically, I lose some of the features, if I make sure that I have it checked off to pair to my specific phone, all the features appear. (Phone book, last dialed, last call received, voice dial, etc...) I sometimes have to go in and change it after the GPS has been off or else it will just be paired generically after turning it on.

Thanks for the info tampa8. Can you please tell me where is the screen to select my specific phone model? I went through the pairing process, but did not come across an option to select specific phone model. Thanks!

After it is paired, from the main menu of the GPS go to settings/bluetooth/device change there will be a list. If you successfully paired your device it should show in the list. I had to manually pick my device, by itself sometimes the Garmin picks the generic "phone".

Ater picking it get back out, the from the menu go back and make sure it is still picked for your phone. Every once in awhile I have to do it twice. Of course be sure your phone is on and set to use bluetooth. If it is already paired you do not have to have the phone set to be discovered.

Thanks tampa8. When I tap "change" the only choices I get are my phone that I have already paired, or "new device". There does not appear to be any other choices.
