Anyone still getting MSN traffic alerts?

I've noticed a higher signal here, for about the last month. I have all of the latest firmware updates on my Nuvi 780. If you are having problems it may be a localized issue...

How do you know what station it it using for traffic alerts? Through the diagnostic pages?

-edited to say, try resetting the receiver with a paperclip, others have had to do that after a firmware upgrade-

@larry_larry: Yes, the radio frequency and signal strength are shown in diagnostics. By "good here", do you mean Pittsburgh?

@johnc: MSN Direct users here in Toronto have had problems with traffic flow information for several days now. They don't seem to be related to the recent GDB50 3.30 firmware update.

Do you see green roads on the traffic map? Is the coverage area the same? Are you still receiving other traffic info (accidents, construction, etc.)?

I AM IN MASS. AND I AM NOT GETTING THEM ANYMORE EITHER, ITS BEEN A COUPLE OF WEEKS NOW

Yes, I was referring to the Pittsburgh area. I looked in the 'diagnostic pages' today and I do see the radio station that broadcasts the MSN, thanks for the tip.

Anyone not receiving traffic updates should probably reset the MSN with a paperclip, some folks posted issues with traffic after installing previous firmware updates on the MSN receiver.

I live in the Chicago suburbs (Joliet) and am driving to and from Joliet to Chicago. I dont see any problems with the traffic alerts. I do get them but their not that significant in length no more than 5 minutes. Also the coverage area has been widened. I normally would not receive traffic alerts until I was close to Chicago. Now I receive it a few minutes after leaving my home.

i've been considering switching to the MSN service, but wasn't sure if it would reach joliet, this is good to know!

I still receive them when I drive in LA area

San Antonio, Texas is receiving them fine.

I got through PPC version in DFW area. It is though transmitted through data connection to the phone.

I receive traffic alerts daily in Atlanta...

No issues observed in our service....

I traveled through Portland to Salem, Oregon, the other week and did receive the alerts. It seemed to work better in that area than the Seattle area. Of course, I have no way of measuring it on a daily basis since it does not have any serious coverage up here close the border. Traveling out of town down to Seattle is the only way I get to use it. Down to Salem provided a better measurement.

I will reset my MSN receiver, I don't get the weather reports after my update

For a while after the last update, I wasn't getting any traffic reports, even after resetting. It seems to have returned to at least normal over the past week or so.

I just updated via garmin to the latest MSN today and received a traffic update a hour later. (Temecula,CA)

I have noticed the past few days, even while driving in traffic I have not received any notice regarding traffic congestion. I mean no voice prompts, it shows the traffic but no advance notice

Still working in the Detroit area as of this morning.

Checked MSN Friday and all was ok. It did take a while for the traffic info to appear.

Today (Monday) there was no traffic info in Phoenix.
